Adam Carter is a senior staff attorney in Barnes & Thornburg’s Litigation Department. He assists litigation teams across all phases of proceedings, with an emphasis on discovery, research, and motions practice.
With a diverse background spanning private practice and public defense, Adam is a seasoned litigator experienced in discovery, trial strategy, motions, and appellate practice in a wide array of matters, including commercial litigation, insurance defense, and business transactions. He has practiced in numerous Indiana courts, including the Indiana Court of Appeals and Indiana Supreme Court. Adam also has extensive experience in electronic discovery, having led national and international discovery projects. Adam leverages his 20 years of legal experience, alongside his graduate writing degrees, to bring a narrative-based approach to complex litigation.
