An associate in the firm’s Corporate Department, Emily Gould represents business clients in mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic transactions, advising throughout the deal lifecycle from structuring through closing. Her practice also includes counseling clients on ongoing corporate governance and general corporate matters.
Emily regularly manages and supports complex M&A transactions, including coordinating due diligence, drafting and negotiating acquisition agreements, and preparing ancillary transaction documents. She works closely with clients and deal teams to advance transactions efficiently while addressing legal and business risks.
In addition to transactional work, Emily advises clients on day-to-day corporate governance matters and serves as outside general counsel to closely held and growth-stage businesses. Her experience includes assisting clients with entity management, compliance, and strategic decision-making across a range of industries. She brings a practical, business-focused approach to client service and collaboration.
