Barnes & Thornburg was proud to sponsor the Trial Attorneys of New Jersey (TANJ) 58th Annual Trial Bar Awards on Oct. 8 in West Orange. Congratulations to this year's honorees and to TANJ's 2026–2027 officers.

Additionally, Michael C. Zogby was named TANJ’s Treasurer/Secretary. Zogby has served TANJ for over 15 years as a Trustee and Board Member, and his new officer role reflects his long-standing commitment to the organization and New Jersey's trial bar.

Zogby is managing partner of the firm's New Jersey office and co-chairs the Trial & Global Disputes group. A trial attorney, he represents multinational clients in aggregated proceedings, product liability, and mass tort matters, and advises clients in the U.S., Asia, and Europe on privacy, security, eDiscovery, and cross-border issues. He has been named a finalist for 2026 Office Managing Partner of the Year by the New Jersey Law Journal. 

Zogby also serves on the boards of the Product Liability Advisory Council and the Trial Attorneys of America, teaches at the National Trial Advocacy College at William & Mary and UVA Law, and lectures on trial ethics and cybersecurity at Fordham Law.
